2008 Enduring Vision Award Recipients Announced -- $100,000 Grants Given to Frank Big Bear, Janel Jacobson and Walter Piehl Jr.

Selection Process

Applications and work samples will be reviewed by a five-person regional panel including accomplished artists, folklorists, curators, presenters, and arts administrators from South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. The names of panelists will be announced after the grant recipients are selected.

All applicants will be notified of their status by letter in July 2009. Grantees will be publicly announced at that time. Please do not call with questions regarding status prior to receiving your letter.
