Applicants to the Bush Foundation’s 2009 Bush Artist Fellowships will be able to submit online applications for the first time, beginning October 1.
{ READ MORE }Each year, up to three mature artists who have at least 25 years of experience as working artists and who are residents of Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota, will each receive $100,000 to be distributed over a three- to five-year period.
These Awards are designed to propel the artistic investigations of mature artists and to encourage their continued influence on present and future generations of artists, audiences and the artist’s field of work. Through this program, recipients will have the opportunity, for example:
A group of selected artists and cultural leaders will nominate a group of qualified artists who:
The nominee is not eligible to be considered for the awards if he/she is:
One- and two-time Bush Artist Fellowship recipients may be nominated.
Enduring Vision Award recipients will not be eligible to receive future support from the Bush Artist Program.
